All are welcome at Forsyth Friends Meeting. We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Our typical service offers two congregational hymns, prayers, scripture reading, special music, quiet worship and a 20-30 minute sermon.
One of the things that make Quakerism special is our times of “quiet” or open worship. This is an alert, quiet worship time of five to 15 minutes in every meeting. Sharing is allowed and spirit-led services rarely exceed one hour. This is a unique distinction of our service. Something not known by many, but when experienced, can be a powerful and dynamic form of worship. We encourage everyone to try this form of worship as it can revitalize faith and God often speaks in and through the silence.
Childcare can be provided, but please let us know in advance.
